Seeing, smelling, hearing, feeling — all senses that we use to analyze our surroundings. Sound engineer Lotz sees sights and feels textures like everyone else, but he hears sounds in a completely different way. By acting as an unofficial city archival expert on noises, Lotz records everything he hears and crafts collage beats from these recordings. This film was made with the help of Lotz on the streets of Shanghai.
