When asked to create a series of films for Volvo’s Health Campaign we decided to tell the story from the perspective a young girl in Sweden. We wanted to highlight the fact that quality of life starts with the basic things, like breathing fresh air, staying in good health and having a peaceful mind.

Together with Volvo Cars China, Studio Stare produced “Explore Sweden”, a five episode series focusing on how Scandinavian culture influences Volvo's approach to a healthy ride.

In the coldest time of the year we travelled to Inner Mongolia to document how Volvo tested their high voltage battery in extreme cold temperatures. Braving severe weather that would freeze boiling water instantly (and camera equipment) we managed to capture the story of the lengths the Volvo team will go to insure safety and performance in their vehicles.
